Canva is such an amazing platform for non-designers to design. I love that it empowers small businesses to save time and money creating their own marketing assets in-house. I’ve been using Canva more and more. This series of blog posts is all about my favorite Canva tips and tricks.
Canva has multiple different artboard sizes you can pick from at the start of a new project. you can have different sizes for presentations, posts, or Instagram stories. But if you need to change the size of a design after you’ve already created it than magic resize is the tool for you.
Step 1: Start with the project you want to resize. the magic resize button is located in the top left corner of the design screen, click on that to continue...
Step 2: Find the Resize section and click on 'View all' to see all the options and pick from there.
Step 3: Pick the new resize option you want. For Example, I am changing my size from an Instagram square to an Instagram story.
Step 4: You may need to make minor adjustments but your design should be pretty close. Enjoy your new feature and keep learning with my Canva Hacks series!
I’ve been having a lot of fun getting to know Canva. I feel it’s such a great solution for my clients and an easy way for us to collaborate. Adobe will still always be my favorite though!
