Canva Hacks: Photo Editing Tips

Let's continue on with our Canva tips, this time talking about photo editing features. Truthfully, I did not know that Canva had so many features at first, especially when you buy a membership, so having these for my business is amazing. I love Adobe too, but Canva is made simple and quick so I love helping my clients use it.

Photo Editing Tips 1-4 will all be shown on the 'Free Online Photo Editor' Page of Canva, which looks like this...

Tip 1: When you click on the image you are editing in Canva, there will be an 'Edit Image' icon in the top left corner of the screen you need to click. Then there will be four sections, today most of the tips will focus on the 'Magic Studio' Section. Our first tip is the 'Magic Grab'

With Magic Grab, you can select an object from your image to move, shrink, delete, and enlarge. You can select that image by outlining with the brush feature, or a much easier way is the click feature. Simply click the image you want and Canva will outline it for you. Below is a quick demonstration!

Tip 2: Also in the Magic Studio Editor is Magic Edit. Magic Edit is a feature that allows you to click a certain part of the image and type in what changes you'd like to make. Below is another demonstration...

Tip 3: The last thing we use on the Magic Studio is the Background Remover, this is a really fast process that simply just removes the background.

Tip 4: Image Upscale is accessed at the "Apps' Icon on the sidebar. If you have a low-quality or blurry image this is a quick and easy way to enhance the resolution.

Tip 5: The last Photo Editing Tip I have will be found on the home page of Canva rather than the editing feature. You will click the 'Apps' icon on the sidebar and scroll down to 'Product Photos'. This will allow you to input product photography features in your photos, and you will also be able to edit multiple photos at once. Feel free to watch my demonstration...

In conclusion, these Canva hacks are amazing for easy photo edits and a great way to learn for beginners. Canva also offers way more than this, but these are just hacks that I find are used way more in my day-to-day design.

Unfortunately, Canva isn't advanced enough for everything you may need, but it's a great time saver and alternative for people who can't access other editing platforms.
