Speaking for Myself

Hey, I’m Nat

Thanks for being here! I started Nat Marie Design because I wanted to create more than just “pretty visuals” — I wanted to help businesses build brands that feel alive, intentional, and true to who they are. My hope is that by sharing a little bit of my story, you’ll see what inspires the work we do here at the studio.

Who Am I?

What a question, right? If I had to sum it up: I’m a designer, yes, but I’m also a dreamer at heart. Even as a kid, I was always coming up with “big ideas” — writing, sketching, or trying to invent something that would make life better. That same curiosity is what fuels my work today.

Design, to me, is part art and part strategy. It’s about creating something that not only catches the eye but also communicates who you are and why you matter. And design’s best partner? Marketing. The two work hand in hand to make sure your brand has a voice, a personality, and a way to connect with people.

Why I Started Nat Marie Design

This studio has been a dream of mine since I was 18. For years I worked in the design industry, learning the ropes, gaining experience, and quietly holding onto the vision of building something of my own. Eventually, I took the leap — and here we are.

At Nat Marie Design, we do things a little differently. We care about the people behind the business just as much as the work itself. To me, this isn’t about quick projects or checking boxes — it’s about creating partnerships and building something that lasts. Every business owner pours their heart into their work, and I believe their brand deserves that same heart in return.

A Few Fun Facts

Life isn’t all work, so here are a few things that make me, me:

  • I grew up in the woods of Pennsylvania — a barefoot, tree-climbing kid who always wanted to be outside. Nature is still where I feel most alive.

  • I love traveling. Every place has its own story, and I’m endlessly inspired by the colors, textures, and history I discover along the way.

  • In 2021, I married my best friend, and four days later we moved across the country to San Antonio, TX. I’ve lived in five states, but Texas feels like home.

Wrapping Up

If you’re still reading, thank you for taking the time to be here. Starting this studio has been one of the most meaningful chapters of my life, and I’m grateful you’re part of the journey.

And just know — whatever dream you’re chasing, I’m cheering you on.

Let’s keep the conversation going.
